PICTURES CAME OUT WOW

Ok so now Ill just put pictures on so you can see some Christmas. I got Dad a cap and a mouse pad with the name and picture of his ship. Uss Mccoy Reynolds, DE 440.....I think he liked it. the rest is just great pictures.......

WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS

It was so fun to have Chad and Bella, Anissa and Anje here for Christmas. Craig came up Christmas Eve also. It was all good. Chad was sick pretty much the whole time but didn't let it affect his time with Bella. She is such a cutie and seemed to have a good time. Santa brought her a new Bike, she was riding it in the house(as much as you can) and biffed it, so that was short lived. Then I didn't have room in the car for the bike so Chad had to take it to his house. We took Bella down to St. George, Krissy was down there at her folkes house, so she proble had another good Christmas. Anissa was glad that Craig was here and they seemed to have a good time. Anje had a good time playing with Lizzie and Bella with MaLinda. We went to Tai Pan and found a dresser half price so I bought it. Then I had to bring Anissas car home with it in it...JAck came and helped Taylor and I put it in the house. It looks really good. Ill put it on if I can figure it out......Thank you for all the good gifts this year...Chad gave me a camera with a big picture display so I can easily see it ...and it zooms really well.So with that I will put the pictures on.....or try..

YEAH!!!!!!! HAIRCOLOR

Well, the haircolor class went pretty well today. My students learned alot I think.
I had my hair colored back to almost it earlier color.....my students commented on how they thought it made me look younger.....I had to agree... Gray hair is no for me yet.....
Thurs and Fri we are having the nail class days. So I guess I will have some nails on for the holidays. If it snows it will probley be cancelled. I really don;t blame her for not wanting to come in the snow.
Aunt Pam is back in Holden but I haven't seen her yet ..I'll have to go down tomorrow and visit. I have hair to do most of the night though. I put them off for the day. Janet will maybe want her hair done after she isn't so dizzie.
I am taking off the 23rd. Chad and Anissa will be here and Anje for her Birthday wants to go to SLC and see the lights and maybe go to the Wheeler FArm....We went this summer it would be differnet to see how they do Christmas. There is supposed to be taffy pulls and other cool old fashion things to do......It has to be warmer though...
Anje sang on TV tonight, I thought I saw her once, but they were all wearing santa hats and sun glasses so who knows.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD

Yesterday was my baby boys 31st birthday. He had a dinner down in St George with friends and sisters on Saturday. I didn't go down because of many reasons, but because of weather and car mostly. I just wanted to say that I am not old just because my son is.....:) I remember like yesterday being 31. In fact bringing memories back. My friends Cheryl, Myrna, and Sharon all took me out to dinner and gave me a gold necklace with 31 engraved on it. I was very touched and we had a great laugh about how old we were getting. Now we would have a total break out how old we are now. Kim and I talked about it today. Who knew we would be turning 60 this year. Of course she turns older a lot sooner that I do (being the baby of the class and all ).....:) I got Moms lights all out at her house finally. I also rested a little.....and tomorrow I finally get my hair tinted. I am feeling old with my grey roots showing so I should be lots younger feeling tomorrow.....
I saw Bellas hair on Chads blog and it is really cute...sort of like we did Shaylies, but Bella has 3 times the hair, and naturally straight. They both look very cute. Well school is in the morning and I will have all the Cosmetologists in Delta and Fillmore area in my school for the color class. Although only three of them have RSVP. We all know how these Cosmetology people are:)
I may try to make fudge tomorrow for Christmas. I usually refrain because it always looks more like carmel than fudge. Well see I think....Im getting excited to have Bella and Chad and Anje and Anissa for Christmas. Well good night talk to you all later.....

TODAY AT SCHOOL

This morning was quiet and was hard to get the students going. You can tell its getting close to Christmas, the students are already on vacation. The one nail tech I have was looking at pictures on someones phone and I asked her two times to put it away, each time she would say. ok but I am just looking at pictures. The last draw was when I went to the office and walking in I just walked over and yelled, put your phone away now or give it to me. It was funny because they are not used to me yelling. Everyone moved pretty fast, she put the phone away and then she left school for the rest of the day. She is an married just out of High School girl and just started to finish getting 48 of her 300 hours in a nail course. When I told her she could come and get her hours. I figured 3 weeks of 37.5 hours should more than do it , well she got 5 hours last week. The term ends on Jan 7th. I'm telling her she has to have her hours before that, so I won't have to deal with her any longer....She left also because I went to the office to run off some tests for her. She keeps telling me how good she is I thought I would test her and see if she was right.
Enough of school though.
I got my hair cut tonight and I quite like it. It did cut off most of the dark so now I am blonde again for a minute. We are hosting a color class for the salons around the area. Because of our space and they wanted to color someones gray hair and so I told them they could do mine if they can't find someone else. My roots are pretty white. I didn't mention that Chad didn't come to Thanksgiving he had to work so he can have time off with Bellaat Christmas. We did miss him at the gala. I need to leave at 3:00 tomorrow to get to the piano recital on time at 6:00 tomorrow in St. George. My doctor appt is on Friday, my foot is cracking as I walk hopefully they can show me how to wrap it or something so it feels better. I guess my bone in my second metatarsal is longer than the rest of the toe bones and so I am putting pressure on them when I walk and so it is building up calcium or something that is putting pressure on my nerves. So when I start to walk on my foot, the nerves twist together and really pop and hurt like a nerve being pinched. Surgery is not an option but maybe they can show me how to support my foot or something. Well, best sign off nothing much happening. Love you all.

THANKSGIVING WAS GOOD

Well, the first two of the holiday days are over that said the biggie day is coming up. Tonya Tay and I went up to Provo and did a little shopping. It was pretty fun. We went to Red Lobster and Tay tried lobster and crab she liked some of it. She didn't like the lobster looking. at her from the next table. We got home a little late, but Scott had the other kids pretty much in bed. On Thaksgiving we went over to see "Twilght" it was really good. Tonya has seen it 5 times now, I think she bettered buy Buffy vampire series. Maybe that will make her stop.
It is the vampires making her want to see it. It is really good though.
Dinner was crowded as usual but fun and good.....
I got my Christmas decor up thanks to Tonya and all the lights look pretty good. The tables and chairs are still at MOms house. We all forgot to take them back and now Ill have to take them back myself...poor me...Love you all. Mom

Thanksgiving is almost here

Thanksgiving is coming way fast...school is in the midterm of the second term and this is a good thing....The holidays are always interesting and quite weird some times. I still haven't heard what anyone wishes for so I am at a stand still for buying. Money is not on my giving list this year unless everyone needs that. Gifts are always better if I can decide what to get you people. If you want to hint to me that would be a good idea.
Aunt Pam got here to Holden tonight, after many days of traveling. It was good to see her. I am taking Mom down to the Foot doctor in Cedar tomorrow. She can hardly walk so we will see what the doctors will do.
I have my tree up, this is the first time I have ever had it up before Thanksgiving, I figured it would be less hecktic and more festive. I don't think I'll put out all my Santas this year. They just take up space that I don't have.
Im excited that Chad and Bella will be with me at Christmas time.
Anissa and Anje have been here every CHristmas and I am glad. They have been the rock I can count on. Although it seems to be changing a bit but I guess that could be a good thing for them. But I still like my family around me , all the time just not the holidays.... Well just babbling now guess I will go. Love you all. Mom

OK Body Worlds

Took all my students to Body Worlds in SLC...it was really amazing. It was a little too long, but really informative and wonderous. The bodies really didn't look too real they seemed plastic to me....I guess because they were...the students were really inpressed mostly with the babies. Their was a 9 week old fetus that you could see little fingers and toes and looked pretty much like a older baby. The other things were the blood vessels in the body and the amount of them through the face and etc. They were massive. I also thought the information about the lungs and smoking got to my students ...they took notes and everything. I really did think it was good....Tay and I are going and I think Chad should go too....

GOOD WEEKEND

Well, left Thursday night to go down to St. George. I had a eye appt. Friday wanted to get contacts, the doctor told me my perscription would not be good with perscriptions so he gave me another glass perscript. I won't wear them so I probley won't get them until I can really afford them.
Tonya was having a Halloween Party that I didn't know about so people can to her house and had a really good time. I sort of tried to stay lowkey but had a good time and it was a good one....Watched Tinkerbell and Indianna Jones...well slept through most of Indi Jones and then left the video at Tonyas so I have not a clue how it ended.
Tried to get all the shopping done. Spent a fortune on clothes I am not buying clothes at Walmart anymore they are short and shrink too much for the nice clothes. So I went to Cold Water Creek and Lane Bryant. They are cute abut I am so out of dressing nice it will be a change.....
Tuesday Im taking 22 of my student to the Body Worlds in SLC along with the CNA classes at the Tech too...It is supposed to rain and snow all day...I didn't make the reservations I would have gone sooner in Sept...it will be fun though I;m looking forward to it..Then I am taking Mom to her Dr. Appt in Richfield. She has a hard time holding onto the steering wheel....Then well be looking for a Christmas tree.....and a few other things....I cleaned my carpets before Halloween and now I have to find a way to clean the couches...Well time has changed and I am getting tired. Love you all...Mom Thanks everyone for the good weekend. I stopped to see Chad on the way down and he met me at Walmart. So I saw most my kids....Mike and Erin and Myka I have to see on the blog.. HALLOWEEN IS COMING

My decorations are up in the front yard but I forget to turn them on at dusk, really should get a timed light. I'll have to take a picture tomorrow and let everyone see them. Still can't find the DADADA mummy. Just sayin............Today was a interesting day. At school I had the nurse come in and see if she could figure out what everyone was breaking out with ...5 or 6 of my students have been breaking out with rashes. I thought maybe over the break it would calm down but today 6 were absent and 4 had rashes , all different so I needed someone to make sence of it. The nurse thought that some might have staph.....yea!!! so we cleaned and sprayed and cleaned. Some of them she thought had ezema(sp) and some rosasea. So it comes down to they don't know either....very weird....
Life goes on though the bad thing is I am starting to itch now ....probley because of all the hipe....
I haven't been out of the house since I got home...fell asleep for a while and then Im so tired and stiff (not old age ) just way out of shape......
I decided to rest. well my body decided to rest and I just went along with it. It is good to read all your blogs ...although some of you that complain about mine not being caught up are in the rear themselves...... I am proud of ANissas rocket...lookin good. well Ill quit now...Love you all. bye

LAST DAY OF MY BREAK

My break has been quite full. Started with 1/2 day on Friday, Started the wallpaper and making sure the water isn't leaking anymore in Dads room. Then Kim and I had fun Sat and Sun in Park City. The bed "bad", so came home Sunday late. Monday, Mom and I got the wallpaper down and then painted and primed the room. Same color as Tonyas first house living room and Anissa's one wall, "Arabian Sand" Dad liked the wall. Chad came through and took the TV off the wall and showed us how to put it back on and then he was gone Fast as the Wind. Today I mowed the lawn and cut down all the hanging tree branches and then put up my Halloween decor outside, went to the dump with a truck load of branches and on the way the wind took all the branches and everything in the truck and dumped it on the road. So I had to pick up all the branches again and put then back in the truck....The gate was opened so I then dumped them in the correct area and it took longer than when the wind helped. Got back home and went in the shed and saw the decorative lights that I was going to put in the flower bed outside in the back by the fence. So I did that and It was getting cold, but it is done and the lights all worked and It looked great. Then Dads room called for decor...he had liked the big star on the back fence so I took the blue one in the back bedroom and decorated his room with the abig blue star and a few other patriotic things. Will try to find him now a light bedspread made out of cotton and curtains that he will like.
Made a TV dinner and then the fireman came and gave me a battery for the fire alarm. Good thing too because all the alarms where dead. I have them all working again. It is now 11:30 and I do have school tomorrow. Im sort of glad because then I will have a rest. Now all I really want to get done is clean my furniture and carpets before the snow hits. We can;t find the hose and furniture cleaner though so I may have to buy or rent one. It has to be done. Halloween decorations look pretty good. Still can;t find the DADADA Mummy though. He'll show up at Christmas Im sure.

SORRY RUNNING OUT OF TIME

Well, lots has happened since the last Blog. You were all at the blessing so you know about how great that was. But I want you all to know how much I appreciate all of you for coming so my family could be all there. It doesn't happen that much and I really enjoyed it. Sorry the house is not big enough for the whole family.. Not sure what to do about that ... Oh well...
This weekend I had the Condo. noone wants to go there either.. Maybe Its me...shocker.....
I guess I ll try to sell it this year..I don;t have time to go either..
Well Ive got to go..Im painting Dads room. I think It will look good . hes not so sure though.....Took the paper off even though he wanted it to stay.

WELL ALMOST

Well I almost surprised my Mother for her birthday. But she read the Blog early in the morning and saw the pictures. But the funny thing is she then went outside to see the sign and it was away from the house on the flag pole so she couldn't find it, and someone pointed it out later. So I guess I surprised her a little. Everyone that saw the sign called so that was a good thing.....
My friend Janet ( before I did her hair) pointed out that my lawn that I planted in June and totally pettered out was now growing. Sure enough It was so now I am going to try again. I am getting all the weeds out and spraying and then planting seed again....Hopefully it will work.
Mike and Erin are bringing the baby to be blessed on the 28th of Sept.
Well trying hard to......Im so excited to see her and the parents of course..
Great and Papa haven't seen her yet ,,,so they are excited too.......
Well , it started to downpour rain....I may have to clean the house first.
I thought it would stop...should have finished the lawn last night. So the rain could work its magic...Oh well....I guess Im cleaning. That has to be done also....Blog later....Thanks for responding.....

SEPTEMBER 17TH GREATS BIRTHDAY

Tonight was the night before Greats Birthday, so I sneaked down and put a sign on her lawn and took in the present from Dad. If I can put a picture on I will...not sure quite how. I told Dad not to tell, but he can never keep a secret from Mom...I guess thats why they have been married for all these years. Great is now as old as Papa, both 85, nowadays thats not really all that old , I suppose....Too bad the pain of it all can't be a thing of the past. Anyway Happy Birthday to my Mom....I'll bring a cake (or pie)

Seems like Mom doesn't like cake, well frosting too much.

Today went well, I had a sub Monday. My student teacher was telling me she was telling her all sorts of things about the way we do things....long story, someday Ill blog it, basically she wants to have my job.

CLEANED THE SHOP

Tonight after work I did Janets hair and I realize just how bad the shop looked. I really haven't been out there a lot this summer. So I started cleaning it...well it took me until 8:30 to get it done. It does look alot better. I need to do what Taylor suggested and modernize....I took down the dated , dirty flowers and threw them away. I reorganized the shelves.
I need to decide what kind of flooring to put down. Tile would be nice but expensive and maybe too thick for the shop. I'll not worry about that now.
The hydroseed guy came and looked at the yard. He figured it was about 1000 sq ft....anyway he told me it would be about 130.00 so I told him to go for it...If I don't have to do it. I'm all for it...
If the lawn fails I can have him do it again....not me....yeah!
Dad had a mini stroke Monday night and Pam had to call me after I got home to tell me about it...Mother you must tell me these things. But he does look fine. color is actually a little better than its been I think....
Time is going too fast....but thats a good thing I suppose..I like the weekends. Shaylie is getting baptized this weekend and I am excited. Doesn't seem like she should be that old.. I am so proud of her. She certainly know what she wants in this life, and shes not afraid to let you know.. Girl after my own heart..... This weekend should be fun. Anje is performing in a cheer league or something. I think its Fri. Tay probley has something going. She is so talented it could be music or soccur, the girl is amazing....I looked into a plane ticket into Phoenix for Harvest vacation. Ill have to talk to Mike about that though. They might not want the Mom there. I do want to see Myka though, she looks like she is getting too big. I need to see her....Bella started school ..I need to call her and see if she likes it.....
Best go to bed now...I;m running out of steam. Still have a few more towels to wash...Having a washer as great as this one, is wonderful and the clothes are getting very clean...It makes me feel much better, to be getting caught up and clean...Love you all...

THINGS ARE GETTING DONE

Good thing it is a labor day week, because I have labored and got a few things done...As you all know my washer broke the middle of Aug. and I have been washing clothes by hand and hauling my laundry down to the folkes. Mom has been letting me wash at her house...then I forget to go down and finish and she has been doing and finishing my laundry for me.
Which I appreciate very much. Well, Mom called me and asked me to drive her to Fillmore today and we went to Ropers where she and Dad had arranged to get me a washer and dryer. I couldn't be more grateful.
I was crying in the store trying not to be a baby about it, my parents just seem to know when I need help and always come through..Not only for me but for the whole family....I can never say enough good about them they always show us love , even if it through telling us like it is. Thanks Mom and Dad, its the best birthday ever, and I love you both very much.
On that note though. I took my old washer and dryer out of the bathroom and the washer had eaten up the tiles on the floor...and when I painted the bathroom I only painted as far down as I could reach so I decided to paint some of the rest of the wall....then I got some carpet tiles and retiled the bathroom. Everything looks better and is ready for the washer and dryer... I still haven't figured out why the caulking on the grout always bubbles up....oh well...for another day. I fixed the gate yesterday and put down the bark...Mike the grass guy didn't show up... what a surprise....seems like thats the norm around here. no body shows up when they say they are going to.Drives me nuts..
Thanks for the sympathy Tonya...and your right I do say Im fine, because I can and I am fine..l.everyone has things to do. It just got to me..Its really raining outside now and the lightning is getting closer....bettered get off the electical device...Love you all.Mom

Saturday is a little better.......

Well, this morning is so nice and cool.....I have had time to cool down and feel a little better too.'
Good thing because I have a lot to do (as I decribed) Also I had forgotten that when I moved the bunk beds the floor is falling out and down....Just another thing....Well will blog again someday.
Today I think there is a thing in the park in Fillmore, maybe I give up all the work and go and see......Bye

THANK GOODNESS IT IS FRIDAY

I could hardly wait until Friday. This has been a very busy week. I came home tonight and looked around and saw everything falling apart. The gate to the backyard was hit or something the metal is bent backwards. I have no idea how that happened , I tried to bend it back and take it off but couldn't do it. Then I looked at the trees and they are all over grown and I would have to climb on the roof to cut some of them. I am hessitant to do that. Although I will have to get up later and disconnect the air in a few weeks. Makes me depressed all the work I do and then nothing seems to be finished..With the three yards It is getting harder to do....I have to go try and trim Grandma Ashby's tree I can't mow the lawn because the limbs are hanging down so far...to cut them would be hard enough but then I have to pick them up and take them to the truck and then to the dump..and then start over. I broke down tonight and cried a while so I will be fine....just gets a little too much by myself sometimes with all the stress and all that I need to do......Mom and Dad came up and saw the yard and I cut Dads hair outside because the shop was so hot...can't do hair because the screen door needs to be put up and and air conditioner needs to be put in some how. Things I can't do and they want a fortune to do it....sprinkler system Todd quoted for a4 to 5 thousand...give me a break...now Dad thinks to put my lawn in at .12 cents a square foot it will be 4 or 5 hundred....I still have to buy a new washer because it is still broken and I can't get it out of the bathroom to look at it....Adam came and just said ...get a new one...yea right....cna't even get it out of the room ..so tomorrow Ill have to atake the door off and take the dryer out and then try to put the dryer on the truck and see if Dad can see if it really needs to be another one.....No money and just the wrong time of year for all to fall apart....including me....I am tired and think I'll just forget everything that needs to be done and sit in the dark and cry somemore...
Boo Hoo for me....Now that is off my chest I will suck it up and take more pills for the fiber pain and go cut down the trees and grass and tell the grass guy thanks anyway and plant my own grass again and watch it not grow and the grandkids will just have to play in the dirt...not that they mind anyway they are all wonderful girls ...I am lucky to have them and know they are will taken care of....Know always that I love you and think of me sometimes...I will appreciate it ......Love Grmama

HECTIC DAY AT SCHOOL

Today was the most unorganized day....Well the student just were trying to be on their own agenda....Finally at the end of the day things were better. Watered the lawn abd thats about it, I alway seem to fall asleep when I sit down....I am tired. I really think I need a BIG vacation// Oh yeah school is on....Looking forward to going down for Shaylies baptism.
I may have a Dr. appt or two so I can stay for Monday.
Its been strange weather..Castle Rock has tornados and Mobile Alabama has floods. Aunt Pam is now living in Alabama....
Our weather has been beautiful.
My nutrasystem is still going ok...the food is still bearable...I cheated this weekend though/... We had a birthday cake and I ate a piece.. Well it was my cake and Shaylie 'too. oh yeah I also had a chicken sandwich at Carls Jr.....It was really worth it....Well the computer is getting hot on my legs and Chad says I can't put it on a pillow....I guess for obvious reasons.

Yeah For Children

This weekend was very good..Chad and Bella came and stayed some days with me. She was so darling and she has Chads sense of humor, Chad was patiently waiting for the HIgh Speed Internet, (which never came)and played with Bella. NOthing to do much here but I was glad that they came to spend time with me... even though I had to work. It was nice to have someones home to greet me. Then Sat morning Tonya called and said they were coming to make a day trip to have Belated Birthday cake...so it was a total surprise and very welcomed. She worked on the computer for a while and got it all cuted up. We did hairstyles for all and then it was late so I talked them in to staying and not going home until Sunday morning....Sunday she and Tay helped me move Greats beds down stairs. Great wants her computers upstairs where Dad can see and work on them. Good Idea...So we will be stripping wallpaper and painting, forever one room or the other , so if anyone wver has some days off feel free to come an d help.......and thanks for the help already...somethings I can do some not..... Chad just come back through and put a modem and speakers on the computer , now I am laying back in the chair working with the laptop with not a wire in sight....yeaaaaa. Thanks Chad.....Speakers still not working on the desktop Tonya and Chad worked on them and Chad bought new ones but thinks the sound card might have died and gone to somewhere........but the laptop has sound....Chad also put music on my blog ,so check it out but push the Celestal Soda Pop choice for music. that is the one you kids will remember I think,... Chad before he left sawed down the 2 big green(sort of green) trees in the front by the porch and it looks really open and lots cleaner already....Ill post a picture if I remember how, to show you how it looks. ITS OFFICIAL

Well, its official that my class size is the largest for a while. They are spread out though throughout the day, so all is well.
Did some hair today and didn't do the yard or anything else....If the kids are coming for the seekend Ill have to hurry and get going.
I need to get a new printer and for sure one I can put pictures on.
Well Its late and the dishes are still in the sink....best go wash them..Love and kisses to all my family

Whoooo WIRELESS INTERNET....AT LAST!!!!!

Well, its about time. I finally came into the world of wireless internet. I almost got sucked into Frontier High Speed, but they messed up and didn't hook me up right and then I found out that Dave Wood provided this service for $35.00 a month. $10.00 to rent the equipment and thats a grand total of only$ 45.00 a month....my phone bill is 48.00 a month and the sisna slow internet was $10.00 and internet was going to be 65.oo.....much better deal......
Any way Im glad I can finally Blog quickly.

Today is a great day......I have job security...no one has to hear me say..I may not have a job next year because of no students for the program....I now have 48...and my student teacher is quitting because she has all her hours.......But oh well....this is a good thing.

Chad and BElla left today to spend sometime with Grampa Strong , Ill miss them they were good company. Bella is such a cutie.

Did hair after school today. Im sort of tired......I ate my nutrasystem food. It is surprisingly good. I think I am more hungry on the weekend when I can eat regular food..Their menu though. I have less food but feel good. Lost about 5 pounds this week so Ill just keep going and see what happens I decided I would give it until Christmas and see what it does....
I need to start walking though, My heel still hurts but I should probley try to walk it off. Excercise is a good thing.
Birthday came and went. Nothing happened I watched the Olympics and went to bed.....Happy Birthday to me....All the kids called....Took Anje a few days but she did call at last......

My alarm didn't go off this morning. 6:50 I woke up because of the traffic. So I rushed around and did get off at the usual time. I should do that every morning....Pictures are tomorrow I think so I best go iron something.....(not that it will help) Getting my hair lighten on Tues....late again. oh well....
